The Point Mobile PM84P is a next generation rugged mobile computer built for businesses that need reliable mobile data collection, fast barcode scanning and seamless connectivity in demanding working environments.
Building on the proven Point Mobile PM84 platform, the PM84P delivers upgraded processing performance with a Qualcomm 2.0 GHz octa core processor, Android 15, up to 8GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. This combination provides responsive performance for warehouse management systems, inventory applications, retail operations, logistics software and other enterprise applications. Android 15 is also upgradeable to Android 18, helping businesses extend the useful life of their devices.
Fast and Accurate Barcode Scanning
The PM84P features a next generation 1D and 2D barcode scanning engine designed for high volume data capture. It can capture barcodes quickly and accurately, including challenging barcodes that are damaged, low contrast or moving.
This makes the PM84P particularly suitable for applications where employees need to scan large numbers of products, cartons, inventory items or parcels throughout the day.
Built for Warehouse and Industrial Environments
With an IP65 rating and drop resistance of up to 1.8 metres with the optional Rugged Boot, the PM84P is designed to withstand the knocks and everyday wear associated with warehouse, logistics and field operations. It is also tested to MIL STD 810H requirements.
An integrated backup battery supports Enterprise Hot Swap, helping users replace the main battery while keeping their session active and reducing downtime during extended shifts. Standard and extended battery options of 4,800mAh and 7,020mAh are available.
Large 5.5 Inch Touchscreen
The PM84P features a 5.5 inch HD+ IPS touchscreen with a 720 × 1440 resolution. The display provides a wide viewing angle and is daylight readable, making information easier to view when working across different environments.
The capacitive multi touch screen provides a familiar smartphone style interface for employees using mobile applications throughout the day.
Enterprise Connectivity
The PM84P is designed to support modern connected workflows, with Wi Fi 6E connectivity and Bluetooth support. WWAN configurations also provide cellular connectivity and GNSS support for applications requiring mobile communication and location services.
An RFID enabled configuration is also available, giving businesses the option to combine barcode and RFID data capture within a single mobile device.
